What's the Difference lyrics translation

In this story, there seems to be circumstances causing the two to separate even though they'll still love each other, "even [after] a hundred years." Perhaps the story line is a bit cliche, but the melody is very nice. I personally find this to be one of the better songs I've heard in 2011. Enjoy. Please note that I do not own the lyrics, which were also partially written by Keita. This translation is based on the Japanese lyrics found at this website.

The sound of the rain at midnight
I was listening to you through the glass
On top of the sofa, with the beeping of a cell phone...

I fell asleep... WHOA

Eve when I waited
for you, who wouldn't rush up to me,
You read your book     I'm waiting

We UNDERSTOOD that
just being by each other's side
isn't love

TELL ME WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
The days we can't meet,
you snuggle into my chest
this feeling
only makes these sadness worse

ALL I DO is believe you
WE CAN DO [it], whatever night
LA LA LA LA LOVE
TELL ME WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

A number of things    over the months
we reach a sense of peace
We met by chance     my hot beating heart

HERE we changed shape WHOA

Saying goodnight, we shake hands
And we don't look back SMILE
Your loveliness remains in my chest
NEVER MIND
If we preciously remember each other
More and more, EVERYDAY

TELL ME WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
Me, I'm laying here.
So I can walk
You are the way you are,
so you can keep on living
Even ten years later ....  [I] NEED YOUR LOVE
Even 100 years later ... [I'll] GIVE MY LOVE
LALALALA LOVE

Fate is different; [we have] TWO HEART[S]
The journey of these connections [is still] GOING
Close your eyes, and the you that I'm touching
now HOLD YOUR LOVE TONIGHT

SO TELL ME WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

The days we can't meet,
you snuggle into my chest
this feeling
only makes these sadness worse
ALL I DO is believe you
WE CAN DO [it], whatever night
LA LA LA LA LOVE
TELL ME WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

LA LA LA...
