Fall 2000. From Yoyogi street lives to the beginning of their history. By word of mouth, in the sparkling intervals, they showed the spreading of a whirlwind; at their previous event in Shibuya there were 8 000 people. They had less when they initially debuted with Forever Memories on March 14, 2001. On December 17, 2001 their first release, 1st Message, ranked first on the Oricon Charts. Overseas they achieved much success. They have sold around 380 million copies of music-related work. They've had singles/albums ranking first on Oricon six times, music DVDs ten times. A total of around 100 000 000 people have come to four hundred of their one-man shows. They've grown to establish an indisputable position in Asia as a dance/vocal unit. And so, 2011 marks their tenth anniversary. Their singles up to now, best songs from their albums, and new releases make up the respective Dance-Best and Sing-Best. The division of these genres into best albums will be released. The miracle of w-inds.' tenth anniversary is here as a compilation.
