Thank you to our Japanese fans and overseas fans for your support.
We received many encouraging messages, what with the fact that we had our tenth anniversary this year.
We collaborated with the staff and other participants, we had the live tours and FCLT, through Three Fourteen etc. we were able to go to every area of Japan and visit other countries, and we were able to release many products commemorating our tenth anniversary.
Thank you so much to the staff and other participants for their input.
And, of course, thank you to the fans.
I'd be quite happy if the fans who came to our concerts and the fans who support us in other ways could all gain a sort of power through w-inds.' music.
I'll work hard next year so we can deliver fun-filled songs and performances, so please give me your bet regards and your support.
I hope 2012 will be a fun year for you all.

We were filming our PV from yesterday to this morning at 6:00. We took a lot of good scenes, though, and it ended well.
After this comes the editing, of course. lol
Today I went to see my senpai Namie Amuro's concert.
It's been a while since I've last been to a live, but this appearance turned into a learning experience for me.
After that I was playing nonstop, which called upon my physical strength as usual. But even still, I think this continuous activity is good.
I also performed at that same place two days ago, wherein the set arrangement was different. But viewing it all from the audience's perspective makes you think.
In other words, I was able to study the meaning of many aspects.

Yesterday was our last concert of the year, at Yokohama Arena.
Thank you to everyone who came!
We've concentrated on working on this this for the last two weeks, so it should be special.
Let's meet again next year at concerts and such!

I'm still [like a teen?*], so I get a pimple as I get tired out. Lol.

There's still more dancing to be done~o(^-^)o

[REQUEST] Winter Story Lyrics Translation

I do not own these original lyrics or the song, found at J-Lyric.Net. The album cover, which I do not own, is provided by this site.

The streets lighten up in an orderly fashion
adorned with the diamond-like light.
It's coming soon
Nobody can sleep, in order to congratulate each other on that day.
If the white scenery changes before your eyes,
welcome it.
It would be great
if we were all nicer than we usually are.

I didn't want to become
someone who's just passing by in your life.
Always believe
in our miracle and in this sparkling day.

It's starting up, beyond this endless sky.
A persuading WINTER STORY
so we can draw the continuation of our tale,

Size: 9.9 MB
Copyright of Vision Factory, sold by Vision Factory CO., Ltd.
Price: FREE
Made For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android phone

Last week, Vision Factory teamed up with Naver to produce yet another w-inds. app. This is great news for international w-inds. fans who carry an Apple device or an Android phone.

App for Apple Users: http://itunes.apple.com/jp/app/id487121662?mt=8
App for Android Users: https://market.android.com/details?id=jp.naver.android.artist.winds

I found this app by chance while purposelessly browsing the iTunes store on the 14th. Please note I do not own the app, nor am I affiliated with any of the companies. This is for entertainment purposes only.

In the Moment by Keita

Today we also had a dance rehearsal
I'm going to keep dancing so I can master the 30-40 steps, regardless of the time spent or the number of times I've practiced.
Dancing lasts in the moment.
I won't regret how many hours dedicated to practicing; i'll do it to win over the audience with those 30-40 steps.

Recently we've had a magazine interview, a recording session, rehearsals, and so on.
Yesterday I went to see DA PUMP's live.

Back when I with my parents and started dance school, I was given a lot of motivaion by the shock of seeing Gokin Dase! on TV for the first time.

The fans are the same: no matter how many times you listen to the song, no matter how many times you watch their video, you're still moved.

And that's DA PUMP, who will soon have their 15th anniversary.

Continuing on for a long time seems like a hard thing to do.

Yesterday we listened to a lot of music that encompasses their 15 years, and I'm grateful for that.

When I go to other artists' concerts, I always worry about whether I should raise the roof with my spirit or quietly sit there and watch.

It doesn't matter if I'm at an overseas artist's concert, though, because I always join in on raising the spirit of the place. haha

But i'd been waiting a long time to go to yesterday's concert so I figured I should join in on the fun with the rest of the fans. I had fun doing so!

Personally, I cried a bit during the last song.

It's by absolute favourite one!

It's really great going to concerts.

This is the kind of look I'm going for: i want to change my image and apologize for it.

i'm kidding. lol
please don't go and take a liking to it. lol

The concert arrangement plans with my brother and the band have ended, so next i want to go dancing!

26 Years Old. by Keita
I turned 26 in Japan today.
I'm around thirty.
When I was around 20, the 26-year old me that I envisioned was rather different,
but I'll honestly keep doing my best.
There are still many things I want to do.
I like this job.
My history includes
making amazing music and entertainment.

I'm going to run at full speed until I reach almost 40. haha

We were held up for various reasons.
This live was hindered this year,
so we're making it a spirited one.
There's a compilation of this year's works,
and the stage is set so it leads up to the new year.
a stage that looks back.

gonna do my best.

Ryohei's Ameblo Translation: Dec 13, 2011

2011/12/13 by Ryohei

Our Shanghai concert ended and we returned home to Japan.

The fans in Shanghai greeted us energetically with much passion.

The dialogue, the sightseeing, and the writing is different from Japanese, but through w-inds.' music, i think everyone had a fun time.

The state of affairs are different when we're having concerts in other countries: overseas we were greeted by a series of unexpected surprises, but for that time being we did our best to sing and pull off a good performance!

This isn't just limited to Shanghai, but I'd like to get to know more and more people in different countries, spreading the good impressions of Japan, through w-inds.

And I do have a feeling that a lot of you are studying Japanese.

Next up is our December 25th concert, the last of the year, at the Yokohama arena concert. I'll work hard so I can give you a steady performance.

But before that, I might go study on the 17th, at DA PUMP-san's concert. lol

I took this photo in Shanghai.

Returning Home. by Keita

We came home to Japan on the fifth day
and we got a lot of work done!!
What is was exactly is a secret. lol

I've recently confirmed that being unwilling to wait has become the definition of work.
And it's not flexible!
Even if you wait for a small chance,
the time spent is useless.
You make your own chances.

I'm going to look forward to the next day, every day ^ ^

Yesterday we performed with our upperclassmen Speed-san on the FNS Song Festival. It was the first time we'd collaborated.
It was something new for winds.
It was nostalgic for our older-sister figures, and this version of SUPER LOVER consisted of a new arrangement, but they learned it in a short period of time.
i feel like the distance between us has shortened.
and Fairies-chan, the juniors, did their best despite their nervousness.
they're great, aren't they.
Ashida Aina-chan and Suzuki Fuku-san are cute, aren't they.
They're seeming well.
And as usual, the two members of WaT are hilarious.
Honestly, though -- i'm thankful just to record and sing and dance with them.
w-inds. does, after all, do performances with their songs!

Koe Making of Translated

Jacket Making

<bunch of noise, mainly the wind>

someone: Look at that quality.... <sorry i couldn't understand all of this sentence>
someone else: yeah!
photographer: thanks.
Keita: <laughs>

<"Koe" starts playing; note: at some parts the song overlaps the speech>

The reason I can smile now is because you're right here at my side. I think that time we had is reminiscent of a struggle within darkness. I thought I could live alone. I walked along selfishly on those days, wasted as I strayed away. But still you looked after that part of me. And you forgave me. I just, I only, I simply want to hear your voice.
keita: It's hot right now, but it's just right for me. Everyone must be cold. I'm okay.
And right now, at this moment, in the present, my wishes are the same as yours.
someone: You're doing that again, aren't you.
someone; Thank you.
Our feelings are floating through the night sky towards you.
someone: You look like a helicopter.
Keita: That'd be great if I could.
 Think about these words.
Keita: Every day, we're always looking for investors. [implied: So until we can afford help, I'm cleaning up, too]. Okay, I'm going!
The feelings that I want to express to you are overflowing: you are honestly more important than anything else.
Keita: It looks like a painting! It's amazing.
Person: It is, isn't it. How funny.

Keita: Can you get this?
Person: Yeah, you can see it.

They weren't all good times.
Keita: Huh. This is a nice one.

There were nights where we cried.

Keita: Thank for all your hard work!
 And through that...

[interview:]

Keita: Even when I was recording for w-inds., I've done it by myself.
Interviewer: Is that so.
Keita: You do it by yourself, so--
Interviewer: And you get enveloped in the song.
Keita: And that hasn't really changed. That's how it is.

Recording
person: did you look it over?
keita: yes.

Keita: the passing people are smiling and I walk towards the place we made our promise.
...we loved and made a pact: "we should meet here again next year."
Keita: I thank you for your love; it was like sparkling rain turning into snowflakes. And now our memories from that day have fallen, piled thick like the snow.
person: The meaning of the song should be that love is more important than snow!

It's too early to label this place as a "distorted world." So once more... So once more... I'll reach out for your hand.

Keita:At that time, in our generation... If we were grieving, we just kept calling and calling
for our love. This voice keeps aging, but it's too early to label this place as a"distorted world"
So, once more... So, once more... I'll reach out for your hand. Right, now straight ahead...

Keita: Ah, that's hard.
Person: It's a good song. It really is.

Keita: Thanks for your hard work.

Keita: Well, when I first started listening to J-Pop, I could really hear how nice the melody sounded. And its poetry, the whole world of poetry, was really beautiful. I kept wanting to be able to express my own thoughts through the world of poetry, and I thought it would be great if I could do it through a song. I liked that kind of genre.

Recording for a Television Show

Keita: We all have the power to believe in ourselves, so...

emcee: so our next act is Tachibana Keita, I believe.

Keita: Our trembling thoughts are surely ---
<crowd cheers>
Keita: --- are surely there.

Keita: Ah, my legs!

<ear-piercing screams>

Keita: Let's walk on. Our journey is just beginning. That's right, my darling.

someone: Thank you very much!

Your smiling face and your warmth... That miracle fluttered down and landed in front of my eyes. And it always remains here, inside of my chest. It's a story I can never forget.

Ryuichi Solo: Fade Away Lyrics Translation

Ryuichi: That was great. Are you having fun, everyone? As for our tenth anniversary -- well, that was as of March 14th -- we really got a lot of congratulations. Saying that it's been ten years is kind of scary for us. But we got a lot of congratulatory messages from our fans, who wanted to share their feelings with us. Thank you for that. When we started w-inds., I began to learn to play the guitar. It's been ten years since then. Will you listen to me play? Um, this is by Radio Foundation. They've been around for around three years. The person who sings the lead vocals writes the songs himself. Please listen to this: Fade Away.

Some day
in the morning
I'll go back
somewhere, they're putting it into magazines
i'm walking onwards
to the blue dawn in front of my eyes
there's no more love to be gained.

there's nothing now.
everything's coming forth as a memory
and just like that, even the world is erased

Thanks for Your Hard Work. by Keita

The FNS Song Festival has ended!!
It was fun to watch this pure show made by all these artists.
Everyone is really amazing and they helped me learn [from this experience]!
This show allowed me to feel the wonderfulness of music.
I still have to keep practicing!
Starting tomorrow, I'm going to be training extra hard!

Recently I went blonde,
but I changed it yesterday.
It's only been a short while.
I'm going to work hard to be a new man!
The real reason was actually for our next song, though. ^ ^ lol

It was a fun place for our high spirits.
Tomorrow w-inds. is also going to appear on the 2011 FNS Song Festival.
I want to have fun as I do it.
It's really gotten cold recently, so please be careful not to catch a cold, everyone.
On days like these it's nice to stay at home and watch a rental DVD.
A movie or an overseas drama, perhaps.

"Dance" by Keita

It's the mystery how an action shot is captured in a still image. lol
Inside of me I'm practicing, and I'm working to close the gap between the moves inside my head and the moves my body can do.
I'm really dancing all that I can, but the truth is something else.*
I even still have the same singing voice!

Keita's Ameblo Translation: Dec 6, 2011 (2)

I can do it!
That's what I noticed from the previous blog entry's picture!! lol
I don't usually take a lot of pictures, so I was a bit troubled by the one in my blog.
But I'm always taking videos of my dance, and that doesn't bother me!! lol

[Note] Happy Six Months!

It's hard to believe that six months have passed since the initiation of w-inds. to words. Thank you SO much to all the readers who are supporting this blog site. By reaching six months, though, we're by no means coming to an end! Sometimes I'm a bit busy, but I'll keep doing my best. And when I have time, I'll translate for you all once again. Thank you!

w-inds. in American Music (or American tunes in w-inds. music)

a member of w-inds. worldwide pointed this out and i had to share it with everyone.

we've been a burden on them, and they've had to look after us on so many occasions.
i'm thankful for them.
and what's more, Imai Ryousuke-san and I were surprised as everyone celebrated our birthdays.
I'm thankful.

at midnight, all together, the sun's BRIGHT LIGHTS
at the Southern Cross
fly away on time. That's MY FLIGHT
and time passes by

even though you said you wanted to break up with me,
i want to see you now

it's okay if it isn't love
i wanna be with you
it's okay if my dream never happens
i want to dream on
just a little ways to go...

Farewell Party by Keita

It was a goodbye party to our manager who'd taken care of us for so long, as well as our record company staff.
When I think about it now, all of the staff members were heading in the same direction.
There were a lot of times where they were pushed forward by momentum,
but i couldn't confidently say that we formed a beautiful team;
but rather,  i can say we were a spectacular team.
We aren't in contrl here, but we'd like to work with them again sometime.
We want to see the two of them have their dreams fulfilled.

And with this goodbye party we had a surprise birthday party.
It was for our member Chiba-san and
our producer Imai-san.
Congratulations!!
We're expecting more participation from you two o(^▽^)o
It's been a while since I talked to Imai-san,
and once again I thought he was an amazing songwriter.
I want to compose another song with him again (^-^)/

Boyz || Men by Keita

Today I weight trained in the morning, practiced in our studio in the afternoon, and went to a Boyz || Men concert at night
In other words, it was my day off!
It was a great day ^ ^
And Boyz || Men were awesome!!
Their singing is so great.
And their way of pulling in the audience through the world of songs was unusually skilled!!
Just as I expected.
I went with an acquaintance, and it wasn't like this person knew a whole lot about music, but
he was very impressed.
that's what it's like to be top ranking.
For example, I don't know anything about art, but I'm fascinated by a nice product when I see one.
There's a way to pull in even the people without background knowledge.
There, I studied!
I'm looking forward with hopes that some more overseas artists will come this month and next month.

During the Recent Years. by Keita

It's amazing, isn't it.
Net.
Internet.
Thanks to this, there's hardly a time lag throughout the world.
People commonly watch popular music shows from [around the world].
When we were in our early teens, we watched video tapes until they wore out.
Recently there have been some spectacular young kids who can dance really well
It's just something I heard from someone else, but a sixteen year old boy seemed to understand that's there's a cool aspect in not doing anything.
Are you serious.
I realized that three years ago.
When I was around sixteen, I just danced like a daredevil!
It's fun, isn't it? The world of youth.

Thanks to the net, I've had lessons from overseas teachers and been able to phone people over the net.
I've been able to do English conversation and voice training.
I've been able to do so much.

I know that being one of the best performer[s] requires [more] practice.
I'll do my best ;-)

Rehearsal. by Keita

Today was another rehearsal. ^ ^
It's fun to dance.
Even on days when I can't sing or dance, I have to try to dance as much as I can.
Every day that ends up piling onto one another allows me to grow
and then it stops.
Of course, you have to have a breather.
and i'm sure there's something to take note of during that break
but today I want to dance! i want to sing!
just 'cause it's s fun ^ ^

maybe one day i'll end up disliking the things i like.
maybe i won't be able to do them.
that's why i think you should have fun, doing the thinks you like, to your heart's content.
I live with that in mind ^ ^ lol

To Youkai bata bata*-san by Keita

I'll update my blog without blaming anyone.
I'm sure you can easily update a blog even with one commotion. **
Thank you, Ochi-san ^ ^

this is a continuation of our Asia tour story,
but I really wanted to go to other Asian countries, as well.
[I wanted to meet] many people from Taiwan and Singapore and Malaysia and Indonesia...
I know we've got a lot of fans supporting us from various other countries.
It's really unfortunate, but as the years go by, I'll work hard so we can visit you all!
It's useless if we don't keep working hard, isn't it.
Let's do our best ^ ^

Korea Concert. by Keita

This is regarding the Korea concert, originally scheduled for Dec. 3rd.
I'm terribly sorry, but we've postponed the concert.
I'm not sure if this blog can reach the Korean audience, but
to all the Korean fans who've supported us for a long time,
who were waiting so excitedly, we would like to apologize from the bottom of our hearts.

It's been postponed, so we'll end up having to wait a bit,
but we will definitely do it!
And our staff, who also wants to directly thank the people of Asia for these ten years,
is also saying this is pointless.
On my part, I definitely want to succeed in making this the Asia tour it was meant to be.
And no matter how things appear to be, I believe that,
depending on your attitude, things can really advance forward quickly.
We have thus decided on a highly anticipated Korea concert.

When the schedule has been decided, we'll let you all know again.
The people of Korea, please wait for us!!

A Meal with Ochimasato-san by Keita

Today I went out to eat with Ochi-san, who I hadn't seen in a while.
We laughed too much. We laughed so hard our stomachs hurt. lol
Ochi-san's blog is funny, and it's one that really makes his interests sound intriguing. I asked what kind of blog he writes, and he seems to be writing about pretty light stuff...
In twenty minutes, this is what we got. lol
His blog, called youkai bata bata is considerably my top pick!

Thank you, Ochi-san!!

Today was a rehearsal!
We were at the Fuji Televisio studio for the FNS Song Festival rehearsal, but the w-inds. members, the Speed members who were at Fuji Television, Producer Kikuchi-san, and many other staff members celebrated my birthday!
On top of this, with the present from Speed came a caricature from Hitoe-san and a short message!
I'm impressed by my kind superiors.
I want to be the kind of person that all my upperclassmen are.
On top of this, we had cake and a bouquet from the staff!
It was a really happy day!!
It was so happy that there really wasn't a single moment gone to waste for me.
After today, in one month Keita and Ryuichi will also [celebrate their birthdays], so the two will also be just as thankful.
I've stepped forward quickly and gotten Ryuichi's present already (lol).
Thanks so much, everyone!

And thank you so much to the Japan fans and overseas fans for their messages.
After this, I'll be extra careful and look after my health, as well as work hard as a member of w-inds.!

2011/11/18 by Ryohei

This is a report for you all.
We've decided that the Korea concert, scheduled to be on December 3rd, will be postponed.
As for us, we were prepared to head out for December 3rd, but crossing the country and having our concert proved to be difficult.
I was looking forward to our first independent concert in Korea, so that was too bad.
Well, we'll postpone now and go again!
It's just that I'm really sorry to the fans who were looking forward to the concert.
But I'll cut off these regretful feelings and do my best as we heard to our Shanghai concert!

When it comes to putting our memories from this tenth anniversary into one story, that's somewhat of a difficult tale.
We've really got to be thankful to so many people.
Quite honestly, there are things that I've talked about but I haven't committed to memory. And there are reminiscent photographs. These ten years have seemed so short, and yet so deep.
I'm not reading in too deeply (lol)

Budoukan. by Keita

Yesterday's Budoukan concert.
It was awesome.
I'm really happy that we've been able to perform at such huge venues during the past ten years.
We're filled with thankful feelings towards the huge staff, towards the stage members who've supported us, and above all, towards our fans.

There's still the remaining [Japan] concerts and overseas ones left,
but as of yesterday, which was like a final concert, we're on break.

From the start, the word "pause" has never been in my dictionary, but this tenth year is special.

More and More by Keita

Japan, we're having our concert at Nippon Budoukan!!
So nervous!!
It'll be great if we can do best and have fun tomorrow ^ ^
I'll do my best!!

And it's a bit late, but to everyone who came to our Hajioji concert,
You all raised the atmosphere with great power. It was fun. ^ ^
I'll do my best for all of you who'll keep coming to our concerts!!

Recently I've lost more weight than when I was training in the summer.
Weighing 8 kg less, my body feels really light, light.
But even if I'm thin everyone will go, "Eeeeeh"
And when I get heavier, everyone goes, "Ewwww gross"
What on earth am I supposed to do?! haha
But I have complete control over my body!!
About my mood-- please understand that it keeps changing!! haha

I'm thankful that we were able to come out with such a product for our tenth anniversary.
Tomorrow is our Budoukan concert.
Personally speaking, I don't really find enjoyment when I'm nervous, so I'm always working hard to dance comfortably.
Let's raise our spirits, everyone.

We hadn't been here since our ageha live, so it's really been a while.
did everyone enjoy it? it's been long time since your last w-inds. concert.

Sendai by Keita

To all of you who came to Sendai for our concert:
thank you very much.
we finally got to Sendai!
It's great that we were able to include it, seeing how it was cancelled from our last fan club tour.
I think the staff, the band, and everyone else held special thoughts for a heartfelt concert.
At the end, we had a song wherein just the people of Sendai sang.
People keep working hard upon no end.
I'm not the type of person who'll check out someone like myself and say stuff like "i'll do my best"
so we dared to [include] an inspirational song in the playlist.
i want to go to Sendai again!!
I want to eat gyuutan!!
We'll definitely meet again.  ^ ^

And then tomorrow is already our Sendai concert.
We were able to come back for an event in the summer, but I'm glad we were able to have another independent concert in Sendai.

Dance. by Keita

Today we were also dancing!
I can't move anymore. haha
I usually dance as I sing,
so right now I'm kind of playing it safe.
When it's just dancing, you can move without thought. That's fun. ^ ^
That's not to say that singing while dancing isn't fun, of course.
It's just that the two are very different to me.

Let's dance again tomorrow!

I've gotten more troublesome time updates today. haha
Yesterday was our Niigata concert!!
The atmosphere was great, and so was the scenery!!
The people were great, too!!
It's a great place, isn't it?
The bullet train is late that morning, so i was wondering what would happen;
but we were peacefully able to have a good event!
For those of you who came, thank you very much!!
And for those of you who I woke, once again good night!! haha

Today we went to Niigata Prefecture!
There are so many good people here, as our audience and in the population.
They make so much delicious rice and export it for all of us.
I'm so thankful as someone who likes rice!
It was only for one day, but I'm happy were were able to do a concert at Niigata.
The scenery outside was gorgeous, so it wasn't done in vain. (There's a good meaning!)
Next up is our Omiya event.
As we head towards our Omiya concert, I'll work hard in reflecting [about my experiences] again.

complicated. by Keita

Why aren't these worldly phrases shared globally??
Even though everyone wants to talk to other people!!
Even though words so important, being the centre of communication!!
It's because what's more important are peoples' smiles!
I'm testing this theory out. ^ ^ haha

E-N-G-L-I-S-H   I-S-   C-O-M-P-L-I-C-A-T-E-D,   I-S-N-'T   I-T.

speaking of, it seems as if people have already answered the question on the blog.
but is it okay if i answer it, too??

David Foster. by Keita

I went to a David Foster and Friends concert.
There's a big gap in our age differences, and i felt somewhat out of place, but I had fun.
I was honoured to have been able to hear Philip Bailey's voice again.
Around eight years ago I did a cover of one of his songs at our concert.
I heard him sing Earth, Wind & Fire's "AFter the Love has Gone!!
I wanted to sing, too!! haha
And Michael Bolotin is super talented at singing!
The group is filled with amazing artists.
It would have been even better if they played You Raise Me Up, but that's okay!! haha
THEIR SONGS ARE AWESOME------!!!

As for Today. by Keita

I had lessons and it was a very ordinary day. haha
What kind of things do people write about
when they're updating their blogs every day?
That's my question.
It's been five years since my solo debut,
so i guess it's been around five years since i've started this blog.
And now me, who's won an award for this blog, is now just
updating my blog with posts that lack any content.
I think I'd nominate a moody updater for this Ameblo award. . .
What do you think about that, Ameba-san?? haha
I think I can work hard to upload posts for a hundred days...

I've been thinking about these ideas inside my head, and at one point I just thought, 'If I don't sing about it, it'll be a waste.' And so I wrote it while I was making my album. Please listen to this."
