What You Need to Know from JP to You [source: i contacted the company]

Not all the FAQs on Ongakusensha will apply to you. 

1. Everything is sent in ONE shipment (the posters and the file are together)

2. It is HIGHLY recommended that you pre-order before the end of September, as you're coming close to the end of the registration period. 

3. Again, pre-ordering (and making your payment) will guarantee your purchase. They say the items are printed after the registration period.

4. The items will be shipped AT THE END OF OCTOBER

5. you can choose between three different mailing varieties: SAL (can take up to 60 days); AIR (can take up to 40 days) and EMS (most expensive, can take up to 10 days, includes tracking service)

6. Payments are required by Sept. 30th, but it is recommended and requested that you pay right after ordering your items(s).


7. Mail is sent through Japan Post. EMS shipping + tracking services may be done by DHL.


FAQ from Ongakusensha 


Q: In the confirmation email, my address was mixed up. What should I do? [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: Please contact us with the correct address at hanbai@ongakusenkasha.co.jp

Q:After I made the money deposit, I have changed addresses. What should I do? [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: Please contact us with the new address at hanbai@ongakusensha.co.jp

Q: How will the posters be sent? [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY??? please see below]
A: In order to prevent creasing, it will be placed in a separate tube box and shipped.

Q:Will I recieve the posters and the product at the same time? [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A:They will be shipped together at the same time, but it's possible that the timing [of arrival] will be slightly off. Please take note of this.

Q:What is the book's cover and the box like? And I'd like to know the poster pictures.
A:Once we've made the book design, you can click here to be guided to it. The same [applies to] the posters.

Q: Are these products made to order? Will they be sold out within the registration period? If you buy [the product] within the registration period, can you be guaranteed to [be able to] purchase it?
A: The products are made to order, so we will not sell out within the registration period. We will withhold the margin [of how many orders?] and correspond to it.

Q: From when [are orders] accepted?
A: They start from Tuesday July 19, 2011 at 12:00 noon.

Q:Are the payments required immediately after ordering [the product]?
A:Please pay within the seven days of ordering. The data [your order] is disabled after seven days. If you signed up on Monday, please [make the payment] by Sunday.

Q: For the serial number, will we know ours when we order [the item]?
A: We cannot tell customers their serial numbers.

Q: Is our serial number order [done] in the order that we register?
A: The serial number is not done in the order that you register, but in the payment order.

Q: For the postal transfer orders, which is defined as completing our registration: at the time we complete the transfer, or the time the payment is confirmed? [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: So we don't descriminate with the postal transfer, we will do it in the order that the transfer notes are recieved.

Q: Can you accept orders from overseas?
A: They will be sold through this agency. (It is available worldwide. You can communicate [with] this company through email)

A: By computer (Internet orders, convenient store payments) ・ by cellphone (Internet orders, convenient store payments) all can be done through postal transfers

Q: I don't know how the data registration works, and i can't register... [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: Our company will respond to you. your name postal code address telephone numberproduct namerequested convenient store; confirm the number of books and we will guide you with your payment code. We will respond to you by telephone and email.

Q: Please tell me which convenient stores we can make payments at. [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: At 7-Eleven, Lawson, Family Mart.

Q:I don't know how to pay at the convenience stores, but... [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: For 7-Eleven, with the printed barcode at the cash register, please tell the cash register clerk your 13 digit code. For Lawson, please register your code in the Roppi machine.
For Family Mart, at the FamiPort machine, please register your code. For more information, please contact a salesclerk.

Q: When is the register deadline?
A: Friday, September 10, 2011.

Q: I've registered my data at a convenience store, but I would like to cancel my order. [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: If there has been no payment, with seven days after the data is disabled, so please follow according to that.

Q: Will receipts be added after payments?
A: At the paid convenient store, please keep your payment receipt safely. For net orders, we will send you a completion email.

Q: Is it okay for shipping if we ship more than two books together instead of one?
A: Even if you buy [more], the shipping [fee] is one [set price] each.

Q: Around when will the product arrive?
A: We'll start to send the two shipments around the end of October 2011. There will be a slight delay with multiple orders. Please take note of this. (When [we get more news?], the information will be put on this website)

Q: Will the product be delivered to my convenient store? [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: It will be delivered to the address that you registered.

Q:  I can't get the product, but... [ONGAKUSENSHA ONLY]
A: Convenient store or post office: have you completed your payment? When you have, please confirm your name, telephone number, and address (has the information become morphed?)

Q: After depositing the money, I want to cancel it, so will you refund my payment? Or can I return the product?
A: Regardless of your reasons, we cannot correspond with the above statement.

Q: Can we know the shipment date of the product and the given time?
A:  The products are released together, so we apologize, but we cannot [tell you].
