[Note] gratitude

i've been meaning to say this for a very long time.

even though i quit updating this blog, i periodically check its stats. I'm always curious to see how many people still sift through its pages. And i must admit that the numbers are always astonishing. thank you so much for taking the time to read these translations -- i am ever so thankful and honoured. thank you so much, everyone. 

[Concert Report] MLT 2012 Shizuoka

please note: i tried to be as accurate as possible, but i didn't tae notes during the performance. please forgive me if the information is vague or possibly incorrect.

PICTURES: our cameras were taken upon entrance at 5:00, but they allowed us to take pictures of the venue at 3:00. faces have been edited for privacy.

“Hey, people, it’s T2P. T2P.” On July 28, 2012, w-inds. appeared in a small theatre in Shizuoka to put on a fun, theatric, and intimate event. They performed at Dai Hall from 6:07 pm to 8:03 pm. Concert goods were sold from 2:00 pm; by 3:00 there were no lines and plenty of merchandise to choose from. Fans escaped the heat by excitedly waiting inside the venue, during which point some dedicated w-inds. fans passed around a Mount Fuji t-shirt for us all to sign. The shirt was indirectly given to w-inds., along with a photo of some of the fans who came.

            The show began with the traditional revealing of the stage set, with music blaring so loud that it vibrated through our hearts. We become increasingly excited as a computer-generated video plays on the main television screen. a simulated aircraft “arrived” and “landed,” from which point the three boys were elevated on a platform from below the stage.

Due to the introduction of SOPA, I am very strongly considering shutting down this blog-site.
It is with a few tears and a terribly heavy heart that I type this now.
And as this is the end, I believe I must be honest with the people who kindly read these translations and supported this average girl-next-door.
This is the truth.

I did enjoy seeing the views of this site. It made my day to see the stats. I'm sorry, but this did matter to me.
I was enthralled when Ryuichi favourited a tweet translation I did. I screamed and ran around telling my friends.
I had always said that I translated solely for you, but do I still sound like the same person? My self-esteem benefitted as well. I've met so many amazing people whose only purpose in life is to help others.  I hope to become like them one day.

One of my strongest beliefs is that of illegal downloading. It has disgusted me from the first time my friend explained what it was. It never seemed fair to me that I would be wearing uncomfortable, old clothing because my money was spent on buying Buono!, Berryz Koubou, and w-inds. CDs.
But it seems as if I have been living my life as a bit of a hypocrite: I translate song lyrics, blogs, and interviews; these are all copyrighted. I've included pictures for your visual entertainment. Even with the disclaimers, I may be standing on a very thin line.

And as such, I must study my reflection. If you can't stand by your beliefs, what kind of person are you? I will do my best to stop watching YouTube once my homework is done and I will discontinue my trivial translations.

Thank you to everyone who has kindly supported me since last June. I will cherish our memories for a long time to come. You all gave me an extracurricular purpose in life when I needed it most. Thank you so so so much.

Shock!! by Keita

I saw Lady Gaga's performance and I can't go without writing about it!
She's a whole different category in herself!!
It was too amazing!!
Every time you see Gaga's performances, you can sense the potential entertainment to be provided.
But then, at the same time, I get depressed. lol
I can no longer sing perfectly here.*
I start tingling when I see performances around the world!
I met THE ALFEE and Gokuu, two strong foes, so I understand the feeling of being excited!! lol
It's really hard on me, so I'm going to practice right now!!
