Keita's Twitter Termination

this has happened before, people.
have we forgotten this incident?

translated, he said:
"I want to support you, but I don't want to become your everything."
in other words, we all need to have our own (private) lives.

and then, just under a month later, was this additional incident.

i don't mean to be impartial to any side of the coin, but i would just like to acknowledge the difficulties Keita has faced in using his Twitter account.

therefore, perhaps,
we must respect his decision to discontinue his use of this social network.

Goodbye for now, Keita.

Yuta Tachibana's Ameblo: Sept. 14, 2011

This was Yuta's approach to the Twitter incident Keita has been facing.

It's Just Me, but [I was Thinking...] by Yuta Tachibana (Keita's older brother)

I was looking at a certain artist's blog and...
It seems as if people were saying thing like, "You're singing for money!"
Isn't that normally what happens with a singer?

It's like... that's what work is.
I think it's great someone can sing a song that people want to hear so badly, they pay for it.
*If it were me ~ I wouldn't want any bitter comments*

Well, now that that's established. lol

I thought it was common sense that those who sing their songs are paid in return...
That's what work is, isn't it?
No matter what kind of work it is, you get paid.
Funding the people who are [doing this work for you] is showing your thanks, isn't it?
Even if at one point, they sang for money, it's not at all abnormal...

Keita's Ameblo Translation: Sept 14, 2011

twitter by Keita

Due to a lack of personal will, I've quit using Twitter.
I'm sorry for my selfishness.
It was fun to interact so closely with fans from Japan and other countries.
I'll work towards being able to do something else to repay my gratitude!
Of course, the music comes first ^ ^
I sing for those who want to hear my music.
It's not as if I sing for my own self-confidence.
I sing so I can move peoples' hearts.

And to those who said I sing to make money:
I will try to become a SINGER who can, one day, reach your heart, as well.
